running in high heat and humidity

Looking for suggestions from others regarding running in 90+ temps and high humidity. My usual reaction is to just not run outdoors during such weather, as I've heard that running during such conditions, combined with poor air quality (typical in DC), actually does the body more harm than good. My usual distance is 5-6 miles.

Do it at night after the sun is down or wake up at 5 or 6 am and do it then. Hopefully by night time it will be more like high 80's.

Also you could just do a Bodywieght workout. You can get one hell of a cardiovascular workout from a BW workout. I reccomend checking out Craig Ballantyne's stuff at turbulencetraining.com
