Running can really be exhausting but worth it

To me Running is exhausting and kinda makes u not wanna do it but after you are done u feel so confident.

I got a problem, i try to run at a speed of 7.0 mph for as long as possible, i can run at that speed for 20 straight minutes but am i going too fast cause im 5'5 and 155 pounds. I dont know if im in good enough shape to be running at that tempo but 6.5 feels a lil slow for me now that im a little fitter and 7.0 seems to be a good running speed to keep my blood pumping.

Well i usually run at 7 for as long as i can, but should i do a workout that can help me burn fat cause maybe 20 minutes of straight running isnt really doing it. HELP me out, cause im dying to get to 140 pounds so i can start lifting weights. And i usually eat corn flakes for breakfast, a apple, orange, or pear for lunch, and a dry turkey sandwich on wheat bread with some lemon on it and thats it. Or ill eat some tuna with the wheat bread.

how about trying 6.8? or raising the incline to 1.5-2.5 (that most likely simulates outside running anyway).

you can always try hiit, too...

You should eat abut every 3 hours to keep your metabolisim going. Also make sure what you are eating isnt full of fats and sugars. I would also go ahead and start lifting after you run so that you burn more calories, and start looking lean. Good luck

Trying to get back into running.

I started to get back into running to lower my blood pressure.

I started with a BP of 188/104 pretty scary.

Now i'm down to 132/92....I feel very tired sometimes because of the decrease in my BP.

I do believe in cutting out sodium and pop or should I say (Soda) for people not living in the Mid-West.

I appreciate the motivation I get from this site....:)
