running at night?

I'm just wondering if it matters If I run at night (9/10 ish?) because sometimes I don't get a chance in the day to fit in a cardio workout. Is running late unhealthy?
 
OF course not. 30 mins of Cardio in a 24hour period is the key to good health. Of course, you can do more if you wish =)
 
The only problem with running at night is that you don't get to work on your tan or anything ;) Plus, make sure you wear relfective clothing so that drivers can see you.
 
Just be careful about the neighborhood/area. Three joggers in my area got paintball attacked. That can happen anywhere. :[
 
Its not unhealthy at all, however if you find yourself having problems sleeping at night then it may not be for you, other than that their are really no big cons.
 
Be Careful Out There, Night Runner

If you run on the sidewalk, you really have to be extra careful not to trip. Never wear a headset and always carry a cell phone. I tripped and hurt my knee just a couple of weeks ago and although I got up quickly and ran on my merry way (someone saw me trip and I was too embarrased to act like I was hurt) as soon as I turned the corner, I limped to the curb and called my spouse. Glad I had my cell phone! So no matter where you run at night, be extra careful.;)
 
I will only run in the early mornings or after it's turned dark outside. It's too damn hot to run when the sun is up, for me anyway. But yeah, got to be extra careful, I live around a bad neighborhood myself so I'm always looking over my shoulder, but it makes me want to push myself harder. :p
