Running and Lifting

I usually run 1 to 1.5 miles a day, including days in which I lift. I have been reading various things that say cardio negates the gain of muscle when weight training. Can any one help me by informing me whether or not my cardio is restricting my muscle mass growth?
-Thanks

Running everyday will restrict your muscle growth, it won't kill it, but it will hurt it. I would cut back and run only days you dont lift, or vice versa, if you need you need to run THAT bad. Your body/muscles need to feed on what your burning off by running so much. Watch/read a bodybuilders routine and you'll see they rarely do cardio during the building phase of their routine and when they do cardio its usually the stairmaster or they'll do the treadmill at about 4mph at the highest incline.
