Sport running after cheat

Sport Fitness
this may sound disgusting to some people but its weird cuz it makes me feel good but idk if its working. Usually when I have a cheat meal or eat an extra 1500 calories is it a a good idea to do the HIIT run right after. Although this may cause cramps, since the body hasnt even fully digested the food does this excersice help burn more calories than usual and make the affect of the cheat on the body less harmful?

I do the same thing... even 50 good slow clean pushups helps and it's all about the math eh! I've even dropped in th handicap stall and thrown in 10-20 pushups between dinner and desert.. It takes work to get fit,,, but I'm fit to LIVE not suffer.

Nice to find a place where everybody isn't trying to be perfect.

yea thats true and i forgot to actually say the disgusting part lol. Usually after my cheat meal it will not sit well in my stomach at all and i will go take a large crap or 2 about 10-15 minutes later. I'm just asking if this helps as well....does it come out of my system and not affect me as much cuz it doenst have time to sit around?

Seems like it is borderline obsessive to me, which doesn't seem healthy, mentally speaking.

Just my opinion, of course.

If I cheat, I don't worry about it. Just hop back on the wagon for as long as possible. I don't worry about making up for loss ground. Acute setbacks mean very little in the grand scheme of chronic forward progress. ;)

"obsessive is a term used by............hahahahahahahahahaahahaaa

thanks for the help on the sciatica.......hahahahahaha

the pushups in the bathroom let me have a peace about me,.,,,, small price to pay... and I do wash my hands mayhem.

this site has me fired up....

dang!!! I got some hope back to be a 100% again today!!!-- because of YOU stroutman--- no more ego food for you though.

actually i just read on article on yahoo today that stated that if you go for a good walk within 45mins of a greasy meal it helps your heart very much and has proven that it is comparable to a person who eats a low fat to nonfat meal who just sits afterrwards

eating disorder

If after eating a so called "cheat meal" one is inclined to work out due to guilt, then they may just have an eating disorder (I can understand a nice walk after a big meal to help blood flow, but HIIT training... come on....).

Also, a much more effective way than any type of exercise following a cheat meal would be a simple finger down the throat. Derek Zoolander and Hansel claim its a great way to lose stubborn pounds before a show.

yeah i read that too =) i don't know if it actually works or not to do walk/jog/HIIT after a cheat meal but it definitely makes me feel better and helps with my digestion.

I do the stairs after eating (wait about 40 minutes). I have three steps, I just go up, and reverse back down. My heart rate is like 146-152 during this. I do it for like 20 minutes. Don't know how many calories I burn, but I feel somewhat better.

From what I gather, you shouldn't worry if you fall off the wagon every now and then. Everyone is human, and enjoying yourself every now and then is ok. There's always tomorrow. If you feel po'd about it, remember that it's better to be po'd than getting p'd on.

obsessiveness is the best motivation one can have. theres no pill out there that will get you fit like obssessiveness.

i got over it, when i got what i wanted. till you get there. keep on obsessing ;]
