rules to start a mile a day

hi i have a treadmill i want to start running a mile a day where i used to back in middle school. now im in college and am home w my son...i cldnt find anywhere for the rules what to do to start runnin a mile a day. how much shld i eat b4 i start to run and so forth is there a list where i can read to start run a mile a day thanks
 
I wouldn't eat anything before running, thats IMO however. You should do cardio in the morning to kick your metabolism.
 
I started running about 5 weeks ago and the few times that I went running after I ate were not good runs, especially the time after I had supper. Thought for sure I was gonna hurl.
 
dont eat too early before running maybe lyk 45 minutes before runnings you should eat, just soo u dont have an empty stomach cuz it hurts, if your lyk me and drinking gatroade or powerade while running make your stomach spin, drink water...thats mostly my opinion but it worked for my friends also
