So heres my routine.. I usually try to exercise about 4 days or 5 days a week. With life sometimes there isnt time to exercise 5 days a week lol.
I try to do 30 minutes of cardio, and then crunches. I do the cardio on an eliptical machine, because I have access to an eliptical and weights at home. Since I am a 18 year old female, who is soon to be starting university.. Money is deffinately an issue so gyms are out of the question for now.
Anyways back to my routine.
Cardio
30 minutes on eliptical
Weight lifting
Arms - 3 sets of 16 (to burn fat and build muscle)
5lb weights on both sides - shoulder shrugs.
5lb weight lifted from behind head upwards
5lb weights lifted straight out to the side
same weights except lifted towards the front
Bicep exercises, arms at 90 degree angle lifted in.
Abs - 3 sets of 25
Crunches on exercise ball
Lower ab exercise - ex laying on back and lifting your legs together up and down while holding abs tight.
So this is what I have been doing if you can try to understand it.. I am not farmilar with names of exercises lol. I mainly found out all these exercises from friends, and online doing research. I have been really trying to drop down back to 135 lbs. I am 5'4 and currently weigh 146. The problem is that because this is sooo many exercises to do it takes atleast an hour and a half. I need a exercise that burns fat, I mainly have fat mostly on my stomach. I'd appreciate any advice you would have for me. Its somewhat difficult to keep up with trying to have a healthy lifestyle sometimes. I have mainly had many of my friends getting angry and making comments and calling me completely obsessed because they have noticed I have been trying to include exercise in my life. So I thought I'd give these forums a try with other people who have the same interests.
