Ok, well I am officially starting my journal (all things I say I will be held accountable for!!)
My goals were to get my body toned up (bikini season!) and to really get my strength and endurance up! I want to start training for this half marathon in October. I used to loathe running in high school PE class, even though I played on the basketball team! Now I love it. I use the NikePlus program and it absolutely keeps me motivated. I love doing competitions on it as well. I am in between jobs at the moment, so this has given me alot more time to start my journey into great physical shape. While I try to maintain a clean eating routine, I can fall off the wagon from time to time. And I will never give up my weekly outing where I am able to have a few beers or some wine.
I do a daily strength/cardio video each morning where it alternates 2 min of compound weight moves followed by 2 min of cardio and 1 min of abs for 20 minutes. I also incorporate squats and lunges and variations of these exercises 3-4 times a week. I do some sort of cardio every day, but it mostly consists of running. My cardio is about 45 min. I try to mix it up by doing my maximum heart rate for short periods of time, followed by recoveries. On my one active rest day I try to do a 10 mile low impact bike ride (which is great now since the weather is so nice). I also try to ride my bike around town when I need to run errands, instead of driving my SUV. I am going to use this journal to post my daily routines, what supplements I took that day, and what I ate and when.

I should post pics soon. My stats are 5'5, 108lbs. I do not know my body fat percentage...I need to get that tested!

Welcome and Good Luck! You sound like you are already pretty motivated...that is my problem. I hope you get the body you want!! :D
