How is everyone today?!
Another day and more battles to run over and win! Hope everyone is GREAT!
Another day, and another peice taken OUT from the puzzle of reaching your goals (our goals!). Life will get your down, stand up, rise up, change that frame of mind, beat the crap out of it! ROCK ON EVERY ONE!
Some of things I obtained overtime that I follow and read for motivational meanings:
A lot of times people who workout complain that they aren't getting the results they want to be getting. The #1 cause of not being able to get your body to do what you want it to do is usually NOT your workout. Most, if not all of the time, it is due to your diet.
"Everything matters and every time you cheat you are slowing down the time it takes for you to reach your goals." (to a POINT I AGREE)
"Every little thing you eat counts and adds up over time to produce a cumulative result."
"The Body is a accumulation of its past"
"Success is a matter of a few simple disciplines, practiced every day.
"Failure is a few errors in judgment, repeated every day."
"There are never any good reasons for diet failure, only excuses"
"The fact is, there are no good reasons, only excuses, because you always have choices."
"You MUST be aware of the law of calorie balance."
"Your goal is to make the best choice possible from the foods available to you in any given circumstance."
By now you’ve had it drilled into your head many times that too much of anything will get stored as fat and that calories are the most important factor in fat loss
There are two food groups that have a higher thermal effect than any other foods and these will increase your metabolic rate the most. These food groups are: 1) lean proteins and 2) natural, fiber-containing complex carbohydrates.
The fat and sugar combination is undoubtedly the worst of all.
It’s a sure-fire way to gain body fat so fast you won’t even know what hit you. Low quality fats and refined sugars, eaten together, are also contributing factors in the development of nearly every major disease.
A few obvious examples of the fat + processed carbs combination include ice cream, doughnuts, peanut butter cups (Reese's), and fettuccini Alfredo.
The second worst combination is sugar and alcohol.
