Rob and Anne's NROL workout/blog

OK, well some of you know me and I had been working out for over a year now, good results can't complain.

My goal is the elusive 6 pack abs, and as well all know the struggle is the Diet.

I have been following the NROL workouts and I was doing really well. I had to take a Physical break and my diet also suffered.

I gained a good 10 pounds on Xmas/winter break, which I am disappointed in.

But I been working out again the last 3-4 weeks, and stopped drinking my beers and eating better, those 10 pounds are gone, But now I must get the muscle tone back.

I was doing the Hypo program III in NROL, which I was not doing so great, nor were my results, and even "tweaked" my back.

I decided yesterday to go back to Hypo I program, that is were I saw my best results and my body really grew, I been away from it long enough for my body to "shock" itself. and I am back to eating better and healthier.

Now I convinced my wife who has been doing Turbo Jam to join me. I bought her the NROL for Women, and She started the Program yesterday.

I am currently finishing off our basement and will build a home gym down there, but in the mean time we are doing the routine with slight modifications.

Her first day was difficult, but she did good. I will be her "trainer" we were thinking of joining a gym but that would be $100 a month and I ahve a free gym at work I can use, and she can use the dumbells at home, since she is not at the point of needing more.

Anyway, I plan on to write a blog/journal here.

My wife is in good shape for being 36 and mother of three, She is a little put out about her stomach, but that is something we can take care of, the rest of her body is in good shape from doing the Turbo jam. But I think the NROL workouts will give her the edge she needs.

Anyway, Here we go.

Welcome back, Rob. Funny how everybody turns back up come January, isn't it. And howdy Anne. Greetings eh. :D

I wish you both the best!

Good luck with the journal!

Working as a TEAM will help you keep your STEAM and bring your DREAM!

Much joy and happiness to you both!

Feel the thunder and let the lightening strike the ROCK ON, ROCK, and let it SHOCK around the CLOCK! :)

Yea took a min vacation and had a little Surgery that slowed down progress, or the will to work out during winter break, compiled with all the food and parties....well you know how it is.

Our gym at work is crowded, we will see how it tailors off, but there are 4 of us steady down there a year, it seems we all took a winter break during the holidays.

My wife is joining me due to my results, i had multiple compliements from friends and family about my deveolpment. She has that "mommy" belly and is desperate to get back into shape.

Inspiring the people, huh. Good on ya. :)

Then I said something about personal growth not being a linear process, and as such, having some non-linear results.

Hey Stingo, Yea I bought the book for my wife when it came out.

That is the program she is following, While she has been doing Turbo Jam for months, adding the NROL of her has changed it up. She commented Yesterday how sore she was when she woke up.

She thoughtt he work out was easy and short....until the next day when she awoke :)

Today is a rest day, and tomorrow I will have to come in Early in order to work out.

Yea she was sore alright, Since she has a odd schedule this week, we did workout B last night. This time it was a little more difficult for her.

It calls for 2 sets of 8 swiss ball crunches....She had a very difficult time doing it, My wife is not chubby by any means, 4'11" mayb 120Lbs soaking wet...

Overall she did a very good job. It will be interesting to see how her body reacts, she was definately sore this morning, complaining and moaning of course.

I will be doing my workout after work today. But I have been a good boy eating wise and beer only 1 night.

Well our Son's are sick, and now my wife has the evil sickness. But the good girl that she is, she did her Turbo Jam anyway yesterday.

And when I get home tonight she will do Day 4 of NROL for Women First phase..

I am still doing the Hypo I and I added Cardio HIIT for the treadmill, 30 min a day after each routine (every other day) I jog at 3.0-3.5 then sprint between 6.0 and 6.5 MPG.

Legs are burning.

I am eating good 90% of the time, sometimes a donut jumps down my throat when I am not looking.:yelrotflmao:

Anyway things are going good.
