Just doing this stuff in my head hasn't seemed to work.
So let me try and put it all into fitday.com and here and see if it helps drive some accountability.

Argh

I posted this under womens fitness, not mens... anyone have the knowledge or mens to move it where it belongs or shall I just repost? Could see how I can delete my own post either.

Ratios

Just curious how you came up with those ratios? The carbs seem high to me.
I went with 30-40-30% for a BMR of 2645 minus 500 calories or 2145.
The high end should be 30-40-30% of 2145 and the low end of 1945. Not sure why I chose a low of 1945 but I believe I needed a range to be in as actually hitting 2145 on the nose is not what I plan spend time figuring out how to do.

Please let me know if my math or logic here is incorrect.
Thanks

Ratio

I think you'd be better off with a 40 / 40 / 30 ratio... and then work from there. in my experience that high of a carb ratio might hinder you as you get further down the road.

So you recommend 40f, 40p & 30 carb?
Any exercise mods to work best with that ratio?

ratios

well i ment 40p 40c 30f, it's a good starting point. and you can adjust your ratios as you go along to whats best for your particular body.

Well, 40p 40c 30f = 110, maybe you meant 40-40-20?

I didn't think 40f sounded right, yummy, but not right.
I am new to this BMR measure, honestly the 2645 number which I believe represents the intake I need to maintain my size at low activity seems like a high number. But I know I can well surpass that intake daily if not disciplined not too. I'm aiming to a 1/3 pound a day loss on average with a max intake of 2145 and 3 stints of exercise a week. My guess is that I'll get off Ok here an seem gains but then plateau and need adjustment. What adjustments, I am uncertain.

I suck, if days were only 18 hours I would be fine. But come dinner hour, I am an eating machine. Gotta break that evening urge.

I used to be the same exact way. Start off strong, binge at night. It was almost like I couldn't stop myself. Once I got my macros down and got into a rhythm I conquered that.
What do you mean by 'macros'?
Thanks
