Rising Testosterone levels?

Could my testosterone levels be increasing? Something is definitely going on. Lately I've been much more aggressive than usual. I'm not talking 'roid rage' or anything, but I've generally had a more 'don't f*ck with me attitute' with people, where I think I've usually been fairly laid back. I've also seen a huge increase in my sex drive and speedier er, uh recovery. I also just feel all around 'stronger' than ever, it's kind of hard to put into words. Anyway, something chemical that's related to lifting is going on. Any ideas? Anyone else get this?

I don't know for sure if it's T levels rising but what you've just described is exactly what has happened to me over the last year, it even caused a few problems between me and my girlfriend as she said it felt like she was living with a completely different person and it freaked her out a little

I'm more aggressive, assertive, confident, alert and energetic

I recommend you read everything TC (Atomic Dog) has ever written and it'll make you feel more like someone understands you ;)

How do people get their testosterone to rise? what are some factors that influence the amount of testosterone?

Higher testosterone allows for more muscle development right?

Test levels could be on the rise for you. Just basing things off a few circumstances may not be enough to really know for sure. To check test levels you will need to get bloodwork done.

Things that do help increse test.:
- increase in good cholesterol
- having frequent sex
- eating above maintenance level
- training with heavier loads
- training with explosive lifts (power training)
- proper rest and recovery

Bear this in mind, increasing test. doesn't come gradually (generally speaking) your body just releases a lot when necessary (unless your juicing).

You're just feeling great, doesn't mean your tea :)D) levels are raising.

You get aggressive when you're feeling great?

I'm sure my rise in aggression has a hormonal explanation, and if you don't agree with me I'll rip your damn head off!!!!!! :boxing_smiley:

That gram of test you put in your but everyweek might have something to do with it :yelrotflmao:

Lifting creates a hormonal response. Testosterone release is one of these.

To be honest I'm just coming off a HUGE cycle and even though I'm lifting more and more intensely, my roid rages have subsided a lot. I'm a lot calmer, but I'm still putting out lots of T, which accounts for quite a bit of my awesomeness.

Yes, it was puberty, and I finally learned how to control myself...better
