Lately I've been using the treadmill at the gym because it's still cold for me to be jogging outside, and recently Ive been starting to have this pain in my right leg as I start to sprint. As soon as I start sprinting and have to start lifting my legs up higher my right leg starts to hurt.
Its only at the top of my right leg and its very annoying because my leg starts to lock up and I cant lift it as high making it very painful to sprint.
I feel like it could be the top of my rectus femoris or groin strain that's causing the issue.
I stopped jogging for a week -which I hated- and iced my leg to see if that would help and it didn't. :confused4:
The pain only comes when it involves me lifting the leg up higher while sprinting and I've never had this issue before. Before this problem I would sprint for a long time and stop and I wouldn't have this kind of muscle pain that I'm dealing with right now.
I've tried research and I cant narrow down possibly what muscle it could be, or what to do to fix the issue...
If anyone has ever had this problem before please give me some advice on what to do.![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
