Hi all
As i am on this extreme 'no sat fat' diet to try and get my cholesterol levels down, one thing i can eat as a snacky food apparently is rice crackers. What do people on this forum think to that ?
I know that some of them have highish sodium/salt levels but they do taste good and they have (according to the packet and the doctor) low saturated fat levels.
One other thing my doctor told me to cut out nuts. It was the only bad food on his list that i was still eating.
I know that it probably depends on the type of nut, but some nuts have more 'sat fat' than others. Has anyone got any suggestions for the best nuts to eat from this point of view ?
Thanks
Mackabee
