Sport Rice Cakes/Soy Crisps pwo

Well my usual pre-workout snack would be oats+whey shake, but I was wondering if these + a plain whey shake would be okay too:

Quaker Multigrain Minis:
One serving:
Cal-60
Total Fat-1g
Carbs-12g
Fiber-1g
Sugars-3g
Protein-1g

Or

Soy Crisps:
One serving:
Cal-100
Fat-2g
Carbs-15g
Fiber-2g
Sugar-0g
Protein-8g

How many carbs should one eat pre WO?
 
I always wonder about pre and post workout food. I imagine the oats would be more filling, what gives you more energy?
 
I dunno yet, I haven't tried the rice cakes or soy yet but I heard they were decent. I know you should have carbs and protein pre and simple carbs and protein post WO. I'm in need of some small convenient snacks that I can have during my bio class lecture because I head to the school gym right after.
 
yeah i know what you mean. When I was doing my certificate III for fitness a couple of weeks ago, we would have lunch, then a prac for 1.5 hrs, then I would have a 1 hr trip home, and by the time I got home I felt like I was going to faint!! I soon learned to eat after our prac on the way home.
