I ran across this picture on facebook--probably a lot of you out there have seen it before. Can you believe this? Even in bottled water? I'm betting none of us would take one of these little bags of sugar and just pour it down our throats. But we'd probably think nothing of downing a soda at a cookout, or in a restaurant, or just because.

I'm definitely sticking with the filtered water from my tap! Crazy.

Thats a great visual, thanks for posting!

You're welcome! I had a friend point out to me that the bottled water one is just the light reflecting off the bent bag, it's not actually sugar! LOL, I did think that was a bit odd. =) Thank goodness, though!

the water, shocked me quite a bit..but then i scrolled down :p

The other drinks, we all know about..but the visual really makes an impact. I wonder what must be happening inside a person who downs an energy drink!!!! His system must be going into shock with that spike of sugar.

How does bottled water have sugar?

Wow, I've told my daughter to stay away from Mountain Dew..or any soda all together.

Amazing. I was wondering about the bottled water myself.

The bottled water doesn't have sugar. It was mentioned above, it's just the light reflecting off a fold in the bag. If you look close, you can see the edge of the purple paper behind it, even in the part that looks like there is sugar in there.

Nice visual though, I very rarely drink any of those, but it's interesting. Sheesh, no wonder energy drinks give you "energy", hello sugar spike!
