Looking for buddies for a 2 month long weight challenge counting calories while sticking to healthy eating and hopefully exercising. My Plan: 1200 daily calories for allowing 200 extra calories if I work out for 30 min or take 10,000 steps. Weekly weigh ins
 
well hello there!:waving:

i know im a lil late joining this challenge thingy..but im new to the site...

i am on a restricted calorie diet too ... (exercise however ,meh.. barely doin any lol)

my calorie allowance at the mo is 1167 cals so that i loss 2 pound a week (BMR x activity level) - (2x 500cals)..

if ya want ya can see it al in my weight loss journal!
so id ya still using this thread post a reply in it and we can try work 2gether :D
 
I am very skeptical about this challenge: restricted calories need to be used within reason to make sure that healthy levels of nutrition are being maintained.

If I see too many people restricting their calories to an unsafe level, I will close this challenge.

For the person leading the challenge, please post more information on how calorie levels will be achieved, what nutritional rules will be followed, and what teh goals of the challenge are.

I dont think 1200 calories is too restrictive if you eat a healthy 1200 calories and are taking multi vitamins and drinking lots of water. Ive been on a 1200 calorie low fat diet for 11 months now and feel better than I have in years.
