Resting heart beat....what is the goal?

My resting heart beat is between 55-70 beats per min (depending on if I am nervous)....does that mean I am physically fit? Or should it be higher?
 
Your resting heart rate seems fine (average is about 70). It doesn't necessarily mean that you're physically fit - there are a lot of other factors that go in to if you are "fit" or not. But, it does mean that your resting heart rate is nothing to worry about :)
