Rest Days

Hi, i tend to go to the gym for 3 days, then rest for one day, then back for 3 etc...

On my rest days, should i be completely resting or do you think it would be ok to do ab exercises while resting the rest of your body... or does rest mean rest...

Could you explain a bit more about what your workouts look like? Like which muscle groups you work out each time, or if you do whole-body workouts, etc.?
 
Try it out and see what happens in a couple of weeks or a month.
If you train the abs on exercise days, it might be to much.
I know guys doing ab work maximum 2 times a week and with a great six pack - Because they got great bodies, work hard and really take care of their eating.
