Sport Reduced Carb Pasta

Sport Fitness
This pasta is advertised as reduced carb and has about 16g of protein, 12g of dietary fiber and 2 grams of fat, none of which is saturated, in a 2/3 cup serving. What do you guys think of this and is it at all comparible to whole grain or whole wheat pasta?

Try it and see how it tastes. I had high protein pasta once. Just once :p

It all depends on the brand you are comparing. There is a post a few down from this one that talks about bread and which is better. You'll see what I mean by different brands (even if they are all "low card" or "all natural") will have different ingredients and nutrition info.

why you must buy this pasta that cost so much? if you eat normal pasta you can spend less money than pasta with fiber and other ingrdients...
if you cook your pasta 5 min. you'll haven't an high glicemic index and you can eat for fiber some vegetable with pasta...

food productor listen us,and they want that we do complex question with nutrition,in this way they can product all that can fat their wallet.

see my diet REVOLUTION DIET in this forum and give me your opinion

I"m still trying to figure out what neuro just said...

Awww, screw it.
Yes those low carb pastas are fine. Near as I can tell, they are using vegetable based fiber in place of starchy carbs. More fiber is good.

I still wouldn't make it a daily meal, but I would say it's better than 'plain pasta' and just as good as the whole wheat varieties.
