Recently sick needs help gaining

Hey guys I was recently severely sick for 2 months and had basically wasted away.
I am 182cm tall but only weight 54 kg now so I'm pretty skinny now. I am taking protein 3 times a day and running every day. I also have a gym membership so if anyone would be able to help me with a plan would be great. Plus any ideas if I should join a sport. And what sport should it be? Thanks heaps guys much appreciated
