Reason #257 why Prevention is a worthless magazine

My mom got me a script to Prevention and every month I am AMAZED by some of the ignorant things this mag will print. This month, to get you started off right, on page 11 it states (I kid you not) [This is me paraphrasing, but not exagerating at all, as I do not have the mag in front of me]:

"This move will get the same results to your chest, arms and back as doing push-ups. Hold 3 or 5 lb dumbells. Lay on your back, arms bent with hands next to your chest, palms up. Push your arms up straight."


Ummm, yeah, lifting the equivalent of two water bottles will get me the same results as lifting my entire 145 lb body.
Needless to say, I didn't get past page 11 this month.
 
Lol is that like....a really crap (because you're on the floor, and no bench) bench press, that they are describing there?
