Really want to lose this time

I am 38 years old 5' 7 and 210 pounds. The most I've ever been. I never had weight problems until age 30. I love junk food and ate candy and chips all my life and never really gained a considerable amount of weight. I had a child in 2003 and lose all the preganancy weight (18lbs) in six weeks. My baby girl had a few hospital stays the first year and I spent a lot of time eating junk food while in the hospital with her. Now I weigh more than I did when I was pregnant.
I started eating better last week and want to dedicate at least an hour and a half each day.
Today
boiled egg 80 cal
2 pancakes 180 cal
water
snack baby carrots
Lunch
salad with fat free dressing
lean cuisine 220 cal
snack popcorn 100 cal
dinner
healthy choice meal 280 cal
fudge pop snack 60 cal
water
didn't get to work out yet. Two year old needed a lot of attention
my goal weight is 160lbs I have 50 to lose.

My daughter has astma and she seems to pick up every virus there is on top of that. I just don't know how to stay motivated after the first couple of weeks. I always seem to revert back to old habits. I really don't want to do it this time but I know that I need a lot of support to make it.

Hi Deltagirl! I'm brand new, too, and I think this forum will help. I hope your little girl is okay, and I know taking care of yourself usually comes last when children are involved. I can relate to your story though, I'm 37 and have just hit 249 pounds. Before having my 3 children, I never ever had a weight problem. So you are not alone....and welcome!:D
