Sport really quick question(s) on foods and macros

Sport Fitness
Hello, I've been researching alot as to what foods to have in my diet for bodybuilding. i know i need 1g-2g Protein Per 1lb. Is there a recommended # of Grams for the other macros? lipids, carbohydrates. Also reading from the Nutrition 101 posted on these forums, its said 1g protein = 4cal -same for the other macros- Question being are those calories already added to the amount stated on the nutrition label? or do i have to do the math to calculate the exact # of calories in each meal?

Thanks in advance.

First, I know there are suggested amounts for other macros but think it depends on what your goals are and what your needs are. I know for example there is one for carbs, just not sure what it is as I have no place in my diet for carbs other then dresh fruit and green vegetables. But thats my need and not everyone elses.

Next I would say that the calories in the nutritional labels do include the macro amounts too.

For example a packet of sliced turkey I have here. Says it has 25g of protein per 100grams and that its 115kcals per 100grams. I can assume that my 25grams of protein will cost me 115kcals.
A protein bar I have has 20grams of protein per 60gram bar, it also has 200kcals per 60gram bar. I can assume that this 20grams of protein will cost me 200kcals.

Not all sources of protein, carbohydrate or other macros are created equally, be aware of this!
