okay so i spent few days reading how to loose weight, alot of sites offere you their "special weight loss book" that you have to buy. so here is my story, i'm 16 years old and wll meet with a girlfriend in a march. i have 84kg and need to loose as much as i can in 1 month. but have 1 problem.. i can't really control hunger or a need for something sweet, i'm doing exercises every day like chrunches, and doing it often, like 100 in a day, 50 in morning and 50 in evning. now i read somewhere that exercising same mussles 2 days in a row is bad. now i really dont know what to do.. i'm walking to school every day 2 km there and home. still i need to do something to burn atleast 10 kg in 1month, i tryed diet but have to eat everything we have for lunch that day, sometimes it's healthy and sometimes isn't. i eat fruits and similar stuff. could anyone give me best advice on all i said avout exerxises eating and so on? really would be great if i can loose 10kg in 1 month with situation like this. thanks in advice.

10Kg in one month is unrealistic and unhealthy. 3-4Kg is more realistic.

When you work a muscle group hard enough you cause tiny tears in the fibres, these fibres can take anything from a day to 2 weeks to repair fully and it's the repairs that allow the muscle to get bigger and stronger. If you continue to work the muscle before it's had a change to repair you gain nothing. A day of rest is a good minimum, 2-3 days would be better (you can use a split routine if you don't want to sit idle)

Add more muscle groups to your training, Squats for your legs, press ups for your chest, dips for your shoulders... the more groups you include the more you stand to gain overall.

You might not have much control over what you're given to eat, but you can control how much of it you eat. learn to recognise the unhealthy or high calorie components and cut back on them. (fried food and pastry are two easy ones to spot)

thanks man, can exercises for diffrent body parts effect whole weight or just in that part? hope u get it

Targeted weight loss is a myth it comes from all over (best description I've heard is to think of fat like the layers of an onion).

Your muscles are metabolically active (they need a constant supply of energy), the more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn while at rest.

Now if you work only one group of muscles (your abs for example) you stand to add mass only to them. (a small percentage of your total lean mass)

If you work as many muscles as possible you stand to make small gains all over for a greater total.

That's the long term bonus, Short term bonus is that Strength training boosts your metabolism for up to two days (which again, causes you to burn more calories than normal).

All adds up to make weight loss that little bit easier.

In your case buddy, i think you lack motivation. Motivation to workout and motivation that keeps you on the track. i suggest that you fill up your house with machines around you, diet charts on your wall, body builder posters, listen great motivational fitness songs and also watch cd's that teaches aerobics and gymnastics. I am sure this would surely be keeping you on track.
