There are so many fad diet programs the promise this or that. The truth is most of these plans were developed by doctors or dietitians that probably never needed to lose weight in the first place. I have been there I was dangerously over weight my entire life. at 12 years old i was 212lbs by highschool I was 285, and I finaly got to a weight of near 350lbs wearing size 50plus pants. I have been afraid to look iin the closet because I knew nothing fits anymore. I have sat in dressing rooms and cried because I couldnt find anything in my size. I finaly figured out how to win the battle I had been loosing. I now weigh 190lbs wear size 33 pants and have run 3 full 26 mile marathons. I developed my own plan that took into account all the fats calories protiens and carbs,. So many of the new fad diets expect you to eliminate or dangerously reduce vital nutrition for weight loss.
