Sport Ready to crackdown on my diet... Q?

Sport Fitness
My BMR is 2140 - 2200.

I am 6'2'' 224 lbs.

For fat loss it is recommended I eat 1710-2360 cals per day. This is quite a wide range IMO. Should I aim for 2000 cals per day?

Also I am taking PN on this diet, will that help or hinder my goal of losing fat and lbs?

Protein: BWx1.25 (or 1.5)
Carbs: BWx1.0

Rest of the calories will come from fat.

If you don't see some sort of change in 2 weeks (won't be drastic, but you'll see a change), then your calories need to be readjusted.

Not sure what PN is though. Sorry.

Hope this helps :)

The number of calories, cabrs, protein and fat grams right for you is VERY individual, and may not even be in that range. You can try starting with 2000 and see how you feel. Full and not losing fat? Maybe you need to reduce. Hungry a lot and low energy? Maybe it's not enough. Knowing how much you are eating now before you make changes is important too, because too drastic of a change could be detrimental.
