Sport Quick question

Sport Fitness
Alright. Bear with me, this might sound bad. If I'm aiming to take in 1600 calories in a day (I've read a lot about macros and the ins and outs) and I did cardio to the tune of 500 calories burnt would I need to take in 2100 cals to make up for the deficit or would I essentially be taking in 1100 with the subtraction of the cardio from my daily goal? Hope that makes sense...

I don't understand the question really.
Are you trying to lose weight, and somehow came up with the super low 1600 calories number as your max intake to still achieve fat loss?

1600 cals a day might be ok...if you are 5'2" and female.

Start with the beginning: what is your goal? what are your stats?

Alright. First off, I'm 6'1, 25 yrs old, and weigh 197 lbs...body fat is 18-19%. My goal is to essentially "cut". Basically be in a caloric deficit, and trim my midsection. It's the only place that I retain fat really. I'm doing weight training 4x-5x weekly and cardio 6x weekly. The cardio is a mixture of HIIT and steady state burning on avg 550 calories. I've been monitering calories and basic macros (fat, carbs, and protein) for about a week now and feel as though I've got a good grasp on that. So, all in all, I want to cut bf% and maintain or possibly gain some muscle. Thx man.
