Questions regarding push ups

hi i would like to know a good plan for doing push ups. i usually do 60 normal push ups then stop and rest and do 40 push ups with my hands making a triange and im not sure this is that good. Also is it good to do push ups every day or take some days off like normal weight lifting.
 
You might want to try some other forms of pushups: handstand, hands wide, on chairs, incline (feet on chair), decline (hands on chairs), reverse, etc.
As for how often to do them, since you are doing high reps, it is OK to do them every day. I would try varying the reps from day to day. Only do your max 1 or 2 days a week.
Do you do any other exercise? Chins or something for the pulling muscles and something for your lower body?
