I tend to avoid anything like that like the plague.

9lb in 11 days isnt healthy and I doubt it would work for long anyway.

As for the rules book... there are 100s out there like it. I don't go for them.

PS. This post sounds rude but it wasn't meant to. Honest. ;)

yeah i agree, but was just wondering, mostly about the 10 rules they offer, and since it was on this site i was thiking it might be worth while?!

ps ya didn't seem rude Sprite, i want to know what everyone thinks thats why i posted this...........as long as there is no name calling we're all good!!!:D

Lol thats ok then.

I know what you mean about reading it on the site -but the site doesnt nessicarily recommend those links or anything -they are just paid to host the ads. :)

Actually... I could be wrong. It COULD be that this particular site selects ads they aprove of, but all my previous experience of forum ads before has been that the ads are completely independant -just any ad related to the topic. (so as to get maximum clicks, obviously.)

:)

Ads on this site

If you notice the two little buttons that say, "Ads by Google" and "Advertise on this site," this is saying that this is part of Google's advertising. I actually have a few sites where my ads are posted through Google. Who knows, maybe one will roll through while you are on.

They aren't selected or probably approved by the forum moderators. It is probably a financial agreement between Google and Fitness.com. It may be a cost per click that Fitness.com recoups as it would help pay for the site hosting.

yay ya guys are probally right................well they got my click........I didn't order but yaknow i checked it out anyways........kinda lame actually......so the ads .......... are not approved by this site............oh money it is the root of all evil:eek: :D later STAR and thanks you two!!!

No problem... just be a bit wary of the links because they are as likely to be a money-spinner as any other diet schemes out there on the web. :D

Well...

Some of these ads actually work. I know the Google ads I have posted work. You see Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem, etc. on these as well. I know those have worked for others. You just have to find what will work for you. Some people don't have the will power to start out losing weight cold turkey and they need some supplemental help whether it be through different foods or additional herbs and vitamins. The key is to find whatever system fits you and stick with it. Don't go bouncing around too much.

Oh yeh there must be supplements out there that really work... infact when I began my diet I did consider some of the "natural" ones on the market at the moment, just to help speed things along. But I decided against it in the end.

When I get to my goal weight I will know every lb was my own hard work and that I've earnt it all myself. :D
