Question about Lifting

Ok, i have a few questions here....im 16 years old...About 1 1/2 months ago I could only bench 115 LBS. once...now i can bench it 5 times. Would anyone happen to know how much my bench Max would be now? (approximately)...*I'd check but my gym class only lifts 3 times a week and 2morrow we dont lift*

2nd question -
For breakfest im starting to have Eggs/milk/bacon ect...and dinner im haveing steak and potatoes with water...can anyone suggest what i should have for lunch? something health that will keep me fit and energiezd.....thanks!:p
 
also is that good progess? going for 115 one time to 115 5 times?
 
The formula used for this is: weight/(1.0278-(.0278*reps))
or weight * ( reps * 0.33 + 1 )

(max=129-134 depending on how you round and what formula you use)

These formulas of course never take into account your sheer determination, and the actual number would probably be up or down, and there is such a thing as muscle memory etc., and if that was the first time you ever lifted you improved your neurological ability to lift as well as muscular, which is one reason why you see so much improvement in the beginning months of lifting.

But please don't max again, you are not supposed to at your age. I really hope your gym teacher is not asking you to do this... Thanks. Besides, maxing doesn't really help you to build that much strength, you want to build your muscles so that you can do whatever you want lifting... don't go for what you can do less than 6 times (you've already done 115 five times, so I won't say you should decrease your weight... but I wouldn't move up until you can do that weight 7 or eight times)

Also, have some fruit and veggies, hopefully together with your protein. I hope you are eating those potatoes skin on!

Tuna sandwich on 100% whole grain bread with not too much sugar in it would be a good lunch, combined with a fruit or veggie, maybe some milk..
sidenote: taking in vitamin C with your protein will help you to absorb more of the iron you are eating with your protein... just so you know (and this is good)
 
thanx a lot, a lot of that really helped.....but my gym teacher makes us MAX at the begging and end of the term to see our imporvment, but i just to it do see mine by myself. i do reps tho after im done with it tho. Thanks again m8
