question about cardio

I am 20 years old, 6'4", 230lbs roughly 20% BF. I have just started back into working out and dieting.

My question is about repetitive cardio and the disadvantages of doing the same cardio on the same days of the week. I know that after a while it takes your body less energy to do the same thing, but how long? I would like to get the know-how before I get in plateau range and so I can burn the max amount of calories possible regardless of my weight.

Tonight I rode a stationary bike for an hour and according to calorie calculators thats 1100 calories burned.
How long can i continue to do this 3 days a week before my body does not get an efficient calorie burn from it?

The rate at which you burn calories depends on your metabolic rate. I'm not an expert at this, but I don't think that you would slow down just because of a "repetitive" routine.

Burning more than 1000 calories like you do is more than most can ever do (it's really impressive). I don't think you have anything to worry about.
