So I'm not a calorie counter but I am aware of how many calories I'm allowed to have in a day. The reason I'm not a calorie counter is because I actually just eat healtier now and make healthier choices. I am more aware of what I'm eating and do think about the calories but calorie counting never really worked for me that well before.

But I have a question concerning calories. Let's say I want to cheat/not really really cheat. Like I want eat a sandwich with white bread instead of multi-grain or whole wheat if I stay within my calorie limit for the day will I still lose weight? I ask this cause also sometimes if my friends want to go out I like to look up the menus beforehand to see how many calories a dish might be and so though I'm cheating I like to make sure I'm not eceeding my calories tremedously. Or for those weeks where I'm not making the best healthy choices.

It doesn't matter what you eat, you can eat 6 slices of pizza and if you are still in your calorie range for that day then its still okay. Of course, eating bad food like that isn't recommended because it could cause other health problems. But yes, you will still lose weight if you're incorporating exercise. Exercise is the most important thing even before counting calories. Just make sure you burn more calories than you consume, just be aware of what you're eating.
