Sport Question about calories. Too little better than too much?

Hello everyone, your friendly neighbourhood Nobody here.

Anyways, I have a question. I sometimes feel that I don't eat enough, but take that over eating a bit too much.

Which one has better benefits? Too much is bad, so too little can't be THAT bad, can it?
 
Yes, too little is just as detrimental to your reaching your goals as too much. Here's a crazy suggestion.......eat the right amount.
 
Too little (or too much) compared to what though?

Too little compared to maintenance levels will help fat loss.
Too much compared to maintenance levels will help gain muscle.

However, too little in comparison to minimum caloric levels is very harmful.
 
I exercise about 5 days a week. Right now, I am working out with weights, for toning, but I am also trying to lose this damned fat around my stomach. -_-''

Well, he said "too little" so I took that to mean below minimum calorie requirements.
