"quality" of whey protein

What exactly determines the "quality" of whey protein. I've been taking some $15 stuff I found in the store. 20g / serving and of course they claim to be "highest quality". But I recently found this:
it's cheaper, and has a load of Essential Amino Acids, that which my current shake lacks. BUT *** has this disclaimer "Sci-Fit was able to reduce the price of this product by slightly reducing the amount of isolate whey and sweetener being used" ...what?
Should I switch?
What is the cheapest + best protein shake out there?

Good question - There's supposely one company that has bankrupct 3 times and come back with 3 different names because of false labels. If this is true i don't know. I'm currently taking complete whey from cytosport and its almost gone, i'm wondering what i should buy next.

I checked out the "sci-fit" website.. looks legit. I still don't trust the "Econo" Whey protein... that's pretty much like saying "Poor man's protein", which is crap. I'd still like to know what makes one shake better than another though...

The values seem pretty good. I never seen this before its not a popular brand on the sites i visit.

This is the best/cheap whey i seen.

Hey, that looks pretty good. 1.5g less fat than the one I got. Maybe I'll try it after this one runs out. Good site, thanks.

I'd just go with a descent brand, nothing to expensive. Maybe some optimum nutrition (a company that's got something to lose by putting a false label out there)

So what kind of thing would someone buying protein want to look for? Low fat of course, but what areas should the stats be around for a good protein supplement?

Dudes I totally just had deja vu when I killed these two flies having sex and told my mom about it.

When I buy protein I look at 2 things, Protein per serving and cost per serving. If you're on a very limited budget however, this may not work for you. A 5 lb of ON (if I remember correctly, I haven't had any protein for a good 6 months) is 23 g of protein per serving and cost about 50 cents a serving.
