Putting it out there

I decided to put my progress out there to keep me motivated and get some feedback.

The alarm went off in my head last week when I went out to dinner with my family and had to squeeze into the booth at the restaurant. It was then I decided I’m going to change my life for the better. My weight was 345lbs waist was 46 inches and I promise I will NEVER be this big AGAIN.

This week water has been my ONLY beverage (bout 120 ounces a day) and I stopped eating ALL Junk foods . I’m watching what I eat and eat 5 times a day in small healthy portions. I’ve been doing some cardio but its hard to do here in Arizona with the heat. I’ve been trying some of these Aerobic TV shows on Fit TV but there kinda hard for me to do more than 10-15 min. I’m doing a little lifting and I ordered a Bowflex because I love using the one my friend has.

I have lost 11lbs for my first week and my goal is just to feel better and slim down. I don’t care how much I weigh as long as I get healthy because I believe Scales are for fishes.

Went to doctor

I just got back from the doctor today and he told me to try the Body for life program. I'm off to buy the book.

Good luck with your weight loss. Its good to see your getting started with life changes. Be sure to start slow at first, this is something your body is not used to. Do you know how many calories you eat per day? Whatever you do dont follow the diet plans in the bowflex guide, the calories they recommend must be for kids.

Actually I've started using the diet in the body for life book. It's been easy to stick to so far I have so much energy now it's unreal. :)

I hope this is normal

I'm down to 325lbs. I'm eating every 3 hours have tons of energy and never really hungry. So that's 11lbs more I've lost. I feel my body getting firm and smaller. I'm eating about 2500 calories a day but getting nervous because two weeks 22lbs is that normal. I had been taking in 5000-6000 calories a day before this.

Been A While

I'm down to 320 but I've lost 2 inches off my waist and am starting to firm up. I was slowed a bit by a sprained ankle but I'm still movinf foward

Awesome job man! Keep up the effort... consistency is the key.
