Punching bags

I have a few questions regarding punching bags. I've tried to find the
right puching bag for myself but I seem to have a tough time narrowing it down to a single one. There is one bag made from everlast, which has a leather covering to it and there's another one I found made by title and this one has a synthetic leather covering it. There were also a few other bags that was made up of vinyl material. My question is, what is the difference between, leather, synthetic leather and vinyl, and which one is actually soft on the hands? I'm looking for a bag that is really durable yet soft on the knuckles and the jionts? Can someone please help me pick the right one, I'm
honestly confused...

Here are the links for the bags I'm considering purchasing.

I didn't look at the links, but I'll give you some advice. It's not what covers the outside of the bag. It's what's inside that matters, and most of these things are the same. I'd get a vinyl if I was to expose the bag to the elements. And aren't vinyls cheaper anyway?

The knuckes will eventually toughen, but you should use gloves. The joints and bones thing...well, that's really up to your punching technique.
