Protein shakes,c.v and weights

Ive got some met-rx whey protein,i had it gave me to but havnt used it as of yet!

Basically,im doing 2-3 c.v sessions a week and im looking to start doing some bulk up weight training but not affect my c.v 2 much as im still training for long distance runs

Is it possible to mix the 2 2gethor?If so,how and with what sort of supplements
