protein shake

i recently got this preotein shake called soy protein 95 from GNC

does it build muscle or does it help build muscle while working out?
 
It supplements your daily protein intake.

What do you think of whey protein?? How many times a day should I take it and when should I take it. I lift 3 to 4 everyday. I run 3 miles a day. 1 in the morning. 1 before my lifting routine and 1 after. What is your opinion on the b12 vitamin??
 
Get a multivitamin.

Whey or casein protein is best. Take it when you need it. If you can get your daily protein intake through food, then you dont really need powder.
 
and if you can, get a whey + casein blended protein...its best for all around use.
