Protein question?

ok, how often should i take protein powder? like only before and/or after i workout or like....put it in something every morning?
 
i workout three days a week and after every workout i put a scoop of protein in some juice throw in a scoop of glutamine and then drink it up

so yea i dont know i just go after every workout
 
After a workout is about all I ever take any protein powders too. I try and get all my protein from foods the rest of the time.
 
i usually get mine in once in the morning with my oatmeal and once after workout.

sometimes if I don't drink one scoop in the morning then i drink one an hour before workout and one post workout.

protein powder isn't magic...its just protein...just like eggs, or cottage cheese, or a steak.
you don't NEED protein powder, but it can be helpful in getting the right amount of protein in your daily diet.

once you do the math to find your protein intake, you'll know whether you need shakes or not.

if you do, try not ot have more than 2 per day. whole food is always better, and too many shakes will give you the squirts.
