Hi All
I have been on a diet since Jan 1st this year and its working (amazingly). Since then I have moved from 13st 7lbs to 12st 4lbs which is quite good I think.
What I have been doing is having a breakfast bar in the morning, sandwiches at lunch and soup in the evening with some chicken before bed. I only do this on weekdays and on weekends I eat normally, seems to work for me fine and I am quite happy with the results. I want to lost another stone though and will continue but I have a question regarding weight training.
I have a home multi gym thing and was wondering whether its worth getting back on this to build up some muscle but I am mindful that this will increase my weight which I don't really want. Should I just go for it and do some weight training stuff or should I wait until I have dropped the stone and then start?
Not really too sure which way to go on this one.

Building muscles helps has to burn more energy, thus you're using more and slimming down. You want lean muscle, that is good, it weighs more than fat, but it has far more advantages. Of course you don't necessarily have to lift weights to lose weight, but it can certainty help. In any event, exercising will build muscles. So one way or another you'll be adding some pounds of lean muscle but decreasing the fat. I'd just go for strength training. But all up to how you feel and what works for you. What works for one, won't always work for someone else. Congrats on the loss and welcome back.
