Probably a common question about protein shake..

Hi I am new to forums, and I always wonder if I should take my protein shake before my workout or after. I have researched a lot and see the answers others have given this question to people who have asked this already. Im a freshman in college so i work my weight lifting and comsumption of protein shake around schedule. This is what I do. I would appreicate anyones opinion.

Mondays and Wednesday I have a night class(it was the only one open for the class I had to take lol) and I commute. So usually my schedule on those days are

7:00-Wake Up
7:30-Breakfast(eggs, a bananna, and two toast at the most)-So the eggs are a good source of protein, so i have a supplement in the morning.
About 10:00-I just take a protein shake.
12-1- in that general time I have lunch. Usually chicken breast, with some carbs at the side, and salad or anything with vegetables. So I get protein, carbs, and other supplements, because I know protein isnt all that matters.

Then about 3:15-I take my last protein shake for the day.
3:45-4:00- I head to the gym/and do cardio for 10 minutes

When I come home about 5:30-5:45(depending on traffic or sidestop if i got to pick up something lol). I have dinner, which comprises of everything, meat(chicken breast usually or even turkey, vegetables(probably a salad) or any good supplement of carbs). So I dont really take a protein shake after my workout as the dinner refuels, and gives me everything, because I know protein shake is a food supplement, so I take it twice a day, but i take my last one before i workout, so when after, I eat dinner, and I am good for the day. Opinions?

I think you're ok. It doesn't sound like your goals are to be 'super huge and ripped'...so what you're doing now is good enough, provided you're getting the calories and macro intake needed to meet your needs and goals (whatever they are).
