Hi my name is Weston I am 16 and am curently in 11th grade. Next year I will only need 2 classes so I will be able to graduate at semester. After this I plan to either join the Army or Marines when I turn 18. This is where my weight comes in. i would like to loose weight before I join in to be more physically fit. I am 5'8 and I weigh around 225. I gained alot of weight in 6th grade when i had to take topical steroids for my exema, which was so bad that I had staff infections in both legs. The steroids caused my stomach to be a bottemless pit and I was always hungrey and my condition was also called moon face. My doctor says that for my build that I should weigh around 180. I would like to cut weight and then be able to bulk on after for the military.

Thank any and all who help, i would just like a list of foods i can eat to help and maybe recipes that help. I also wouldnt mind any exercises that could be done. i do not have a gym right now but i am getting a membership.

Thank you again :)

Listing foods doesn't help. That is not what you need. Losing weight is about calories. You want to lose weight, eat less and exercise more.

If you aren't into counting calories, you could try just eating off a smaller plate for every meal. Our skipping breakfast and eating slightly more for lunch and dinner (google intermittent fasting - not eating between 8pm and noon - doesn't work out well if your workout time is in the morning because you need the calories to exercise)

The military is all about body weight exercises (and with a pack). When I was much younger, I used the Navy Seals training program as a guideline. I think it was exercising 6 days / week and all with your own body weight. Although, I think a couple days including swimming, so that might not be accessible to you.
