Pre race meals

Guys,

My half marathon is this weekend, Sunday. Its at 12 noon and I'm just wondering what I should be putting into the body from Saturday onwards. I'm thinking big bowl of pasta before bed on Saturday and then wake up sunday with porridge, a banana, an apple and a protein shake....

Whatcha think?
 
I would definately skip the protein shake because that will probably cause cramping. The pasta the night before is a good idea. A bagel in the morning would probably be a little better than the porridge because it is less likely to cause cramping and its packed with carbs. Do what you want but that is what worked for me.
