Powertec Power Rack..Installation Question

I just completed putting together powertec power rack with the lat attachment. I have noticed something with the lat attachment and was wondering if any other owners have the same.

The Cable on the lat attachment at its taught position with no weight on it, still wont rest on the bushing. Is the cable short of length? or it by design? Pleae advice. Here is a picture.
 
You have one of two options:

1. Call powertec and explain the problem, ask them to remedy.
2. Buy a longer cable.
 
My brothers was the same we just rang the dealer and they said it was just in case there was some cable strech over time. The gap is smaller now.
