What is the best single exercise for improving your posture and height? I met a guy who claims he improved his posture and increased his height by about 11/2 inches simply by doing a modified squat. He does a shallow squat with a barbell across his shoulders while bending his upper body forward until it is parallel to the floor. Starting out with light weights and continue to increase to whatever you can handle. Its similar to the good morning exercise but the bending of the knees allows the use of heavier weights and takes some of the strain off the lower back and hamstrings.
