Sport Police PT test tomorrow! Breakfast?

Sport Fitness
Hey everyone,

Ive been reading a Sports Nutrition guide and Ive been getting some pretty good advice on breakfast and energizing foods. Tomorrow I have a Physical Agility test with a police department. Its going to consist of running, sprinting, pull-ups, pushups, sit-ups, stretching excersises etc. Ive been working out regularly for the test and physically, I know I can pass.

My only concern is that of breakfast. Sometimes, when I run I can just go forever at the same pace and not get tired. Some other times depending on what I eat and how much I drink, I get tired and fatigued. I wonder if its do to a low-blood sugar count or not getting enough sleep the night before. There are dozens of variables that can contribute.

So for tomorrow's test, I am going to wake up at 5, eat breakfast, drive there for an hour and a half and start the test around 8.

Heres my breakfast plans so far:

Water - (no milk or OJ for it may upset my stomach during a 4 hour workout)
Corn Muffin - (not sure of the fat or sugar content, but is loaded with carbs)
Banana - (ripe, not too much starch, not too much sugar)
Clif or Powerbar

The way I see it, is that I will have approx 700-800 calories. This may seem like alot, but I try to do it often and I get good results.

I also plan to eat pasta with sauce (no butter or cheese) for carbs tonite.

So, can anyone critique my plans? Am I going about this right?

-Kev
