plyometric exercises

Does anyone have experience with doing plyometric exercises? I am curious to know how effective they are at burning fat and increasing power. Also, any recommendations on specific plyometric exercises to do? Any info you have to share will be helpful.

Thanks,
Jules

Plyometrics/power/and other dynamic movements are excellent to increase power output and help with fat burning. It is important to understand the basic movements such as a squat, lunges, one leg squat....before moving into power or plyo movements.
Always show progression in your training.....learn to squat correctly (if you don't know).......I recommend next going to "prisoner squats" (it will help increase speed of the hip flexion/extension.....you will need that) check out this link for pics and instructions for the movement

finally start jump squats. These are best perform if you learn to land softly right behind the ball of the feet and swing your arms up with the jump.
