Hey guys, Ive posted in here before but wanted to get your guys opinion on my new workout and diet regimen. Here is a quick rundown of my current state.
Age - 26
Height - 5'-9"
Weight - 232
Body Frame - Large (According to Dr.)
Workout Experience - Intermediate (Played JuCo Baseball)
Goal - To lose weight and put on lean muscle mass
Goal Weight - 190
Goal Finish Date - 1 year
Workout:
Squats
Lying Leg Curl
Standing Calf Raises
Seated Row
Upright Row
Bench
Shoulder Press
Curls
Tricep Dips
Abs
Obliques
Cardio:
5 min warmup
5 rounds of HIIT
5 min cooldown
Stationary Bike (anywhere from 10 mins to 30 mins)
Workout Days:
Monday (65% of 1RM, 3 sets of 8,10,12)
Tuesday (80% of 1RM, 3 sets of 4,6,8 or to failure) (Cardio day)
Wednesday (50% 1RM, 3 sets of 10) (Cardio day)
Thursday (65% of 1RM, 3 sets of 8,10,12) (Cardio day)
Friday (80% of 1RM, 3 sets 4,6,8 or to failure)
Sat and Sun Off
Diet:
1 or 2 diet sodas a week
1 gram of protein per body weight a day
2,100 Cals a day
Stay under 260 carbs a day
Stay under 60 grams of fat a day
Basically I would like to know if what im doing is ideal for my goals. I know that everyday I leave the gym Im preety spent and sweating alot. I know 5 days is alot but I did 7 during baseball season, plus if I make a routine of goign everyday its easier to motivate myself to go. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
