Hi Kyle. If it were possible, you know that everyone would be looking for a quick fix. I have had issues with my weight my entire life, and I can assure you that fast weight loss does not equate to sustained weight loss. It says that you are from Mesa, Arizona. I am from South Carolina and I DREAM of living in Mesa. I am actually applying for something called Teach for America in August, and I am hoping to be relocated to Phoenix. Anyway, my point is that you live in an absolutely gorgeous place. I suggest taking advantage of the sunny weather out there in Arizona. Take a walk, do you have a dog? Even a 5 minute walk around the block is a great way to start working towards a healthy lifestyle. I know you are in high school and looking for a quick fix. Trust me, I was in high school only 6 years ago, and I know how cruel some kids can be. What I would like you to consider is a healthy way of reaching your goal. Think to yourself, once you get there, are you really going to care how long it took you? A couple of tips to jump start your weight loss in a way that you can keep it off FOREVER: 1.) quit drinking sodas and drink more water(I lost 20 pounds in a year when I was in middle school just from doing this one right here alone, some people lose more) 2.) attempt to take a 20 minute walk (1 mile) every day. Did you know that burning as little as 100 calories a day will result in you losing 10 pounds in one year, without even changing your diet?
Anyway, I wish you the best of luck! Let me know if you need anything.
